Think back to a conference where one of the keynote speakers got you really pumped and excited about teaching. Didn't that feel AWESOME?! Are there days when you could use that type of adrenaline? TED Talks can be a great way to get that feeling again. While I can talk about all the benefits to staff, I want to point out all the benefits to our students.

Okay, okay, I first off do not expect students to get as pumped and excited while watching TED Talks as we might and that's okay. A former high school English teacher said it best,“TED Talks make us pause and listen to the percolation of ideas—art, engineering, technology, the humanities, spoken word and more.” TED Talks can be powerful in classroom conversations.

Everyone is allowed to join a class, or at least that is what I intend do. I am a teacher, and most of what I do is teach. There are lots of things that I need to take into consideration, but most of the time, I think that it is all about imparting. If I can give my knowledge to the next generation, then I do not really care who it is. I just want to help progress our current civilization.
